Udaipur is definitely a wonderful city - offering little bit of everything. The lakes and the mountains do make it different from other Rajasthan cities and the royal elegance is very much there. Beauty and charm at its best.
One of India’s prettiest cities with artificial lakes, royal palaces for every season & weather, gardens etc.
I spent a couple of days in Udaipur. This was my first time (officially) in Udaipur and though I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. I want to Thank ABTYP & TKM team & also Udaipur TYP team for this adhiveshan (Seminar) of three days & because of that I was there for six days.
Udaipur is a charming city & the locals were friendly and very ready for a chat. (Chaaiwala-Paanwala-Rickshawala or should I say Udaipurwala). If you want to know about Udaipur then just ask them a single question and they will let you know the whole story behind it & I just love this thing about Udaipur & people of Udaipur. They are so simple & so sweet. Lifestyle of Udaipur is so Simple but at a same time Royal too.
So now I will let you know about my last day visit. Now I was out on trip on 17th after my seminar. The first thing we did on 17th may was to walk around the streets and then, we found ourselves at the city palace. The city palace has its own story of a human sacrifice, but of a different kind. City palace is one of the biggest & beautiful place in Udaipur. I met Mooch wale uncle, I saw Janana Mahel, I saw Magical Room of last king, etc. So City palace has so many beautiful corners in it & also so many secrets too.
Udaipur was lovely - warm and intimate and wants to go back there after some time, of course I will go in Monsoon. People told me about this, Nahar ji, do come in monsoon, or kuch ho na ho, aapko pyaar ho jaayega…. UDAIPUR se. :)
